Ayane turned out a lot harder than Lilacwire originally planned. While the tank top and sweats looked easy, the knit fabric of the top proved too much of an opponent for Lilacwire and she lost, miserably. The tank is actually bought from Forever 21 and modified. The sweats are made from a stiff flannel, and the stripes are sewn on. All other decorations are painted.

This costume is one of the first to sport the new Ayane wig, which is wig-dyed from a white/silver to a shifting spectrum of silver to purple.
