Emi - Dance Dance Revolution

Probably the biggest challenge of this costume was locating a plaid material that closely matched Emi's (Dahlia finally settled on an uber-soft fleece that also happened to be on sale.) The top was patterned completely by hand, with a little assistance on the collar from Dad. The hat (which is Dahlia's favorite part of the costume) was patterned off another hat she already owned. The jeans were dug out of the back of the closet and the shoes were borrowed from her sister.

The other thing Dahlia needed to incorporate into the costume was the ability to transform, as evidenced in photo 3.  It needed to be taken off for a skit in which Dahlia did some dancing.
