Jessica started life as a simple costume to be a break between masquerade costumes and other extremely detailed work. Most of the costume is comprised of linen cloth, and all fabrics were found in the correct color. Lilacwire created the shirt and corset on her dress form (without patterns), but the skirt with gussets was made with a pattern.

Lilacwire wefted the wig, but there were no matching extensions for the color she had chosen. She used a combination of darker red and gold to match the wig. The pigtail holders are made of cloth.

Other items include the belt and earrings, which Lilacwire owned already. The shoes were donated by a friend who was not going to use them.
