Klaha (Gardenia) - Malice Mizer

Klaha took a lot of detailing because of the lace running around the edges of the cape and cowl.  Much of the trim was purchased from Denver Fabrics.  Because the cowl was heavy, it needed to stand up, and did so with very heavy interfacing. The cowl was actually part of the dress, which made it much easier to put on than had it been part of the cape.

One of the hardest parts of the costume was the dress, which needed to close properly with a zipper and frogs.
