Gekka Kozi is likely the most intricate costume Lilacwire has made. Over 6 yards of red satin went into this costume, and she used at least 5 different types of gold lining. One of the hardest parts of this costume was finding the red lace material that decorates the back of Kozi's cape. 

Lilacwire was lucky to be able to make this costume at the same time as another costumer friend of hers, who gave her tips on how to make the jester hat work. If you've never made one of these from scratch, you obviously haven't lived.

One of the hardest parts to this costume were the sleeves, which required about 10 hours of work. They were done by scratch. The zigzag pattern needed lots of hand detailing, which was a blinding job to do.
