Mana (Gardenia) - Malice Mizer

Mana's dress was made using almost the exact same method as the Alice costumes, except that over certain panels of the bodice Dahlia overlaid the white satin with white lace and over-laid the skirt with layers of white tulle. For the "corsage" type element, she purchased bouquets of fake blue, white, and red flowers and picked-n-chose certain flowers that she sewed directly onto the dress, along with various white "dangley" trims. The petticoat incorporated about twelve yards of tulle, that was cut into pieces, gathered, and sewn onto a "base." The headpiece was constructed similar to her other Mana headpiece, substituting blue and white flowers for black. The boots were purchased online, and altered by sewing white ruffle trim to the tops. The wig was purchased locally and was styled into ponytails using hair-claws.
