Peter Pan is easily one of Emily's favorite childhood stories--after all, who's never identified with the little boy who wants to play all day and never grow up? Even though she adores all the various interpretations of Peter on-screen, Emily decided to do her own take on the classic character.
Overall, she wanted her outfit to be true to Peter's character: playful, functional, and "pulled from nature" (because seriously, what little boy is going to stop and make himself some pretty clothes? XD)

A majority of the fabric used was leftover scraps from other costumes (yay low-cost!) and were all "natural" blends, such as cotton and jean. The only pattern used was for the pants because pants are NOT Emily's forte, otherwise everything else was made up on the fly. The wig was also a recycled part, from her Shinji costume. :D

Emily's favorite parts of the costume are the functional pack on her belt (because any costume where you don't have to carry a purse is awesome) and the random feather coming out of her wig. And yes, she totally copied her make-up off of Adam Ant.

Emily is featured in this photoshoot with Oleander as Wendy and Beverly as Tinkerbell.
