Pirate - Based off Pirates of the Caribbean

Lilacwire thought the pattern for this costume was awfully cute, and she couldn't pass up the chance to dress up as a pirate for Halloween. The hardest part was the top, which is a fully lined and surged brocade. All the leather that has laces run through it had to be sewn on by hand, which took quite a few hours. Lilacwire modified the pants to include the leather and laces as well, though the pattern had not called for it. The hat was found at a local costume shop, after searching for a costume pirate hat that wasn't made of really flimsy tacky foam.

The rest of the costume consists of simple socks and character shoes, a great shoe for any cosplayer interested in generic "dancing" shoes.
