Alice in Wonderland Photoshoot

After Lilacwire and Dahlia made their Alice in Wonderland Gothic Lolita-based costumes for the Anime Expo Midnight Tea (along with competing group members Teca and Zero Chance), a few other friends jumped into the mix to make the Alice in Wonderland group truly magnificent. Other cast includes Beverly as the Cheshire Cat, Makoto and Ringo as the Tweedles, and Nathan as the White Rabbit.

To set the stage, the group reserved a few hours at a small Bed and Breakfast in the heart of Denver. The quaint, floral atmosphere was exactly what was needed, and the group had the run of three full floors and the outside courtyard. The weather was cold, but in the end worth it! The photographer, Laura, did the group incredible justice. The makeup artists, Sam and Alison of Shock Value Studios, both spent quite a few hours in the morning prepping the group with makeup, latex faces, and beauty marks galore.
